Roshan/ Tirtha. (Jhapa) Relief distribution by Rach Family Trust Rach Family Trust working hand in hand with the local level The country has been in a state of continuous lockdown since 24th of March due to the global outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
Ms. Nabina Bishwakarma, Director of Rach Family Trust has handed over food items as a relief to Buddha Shanti Rural Municipality of Jhapa to distribute to its citizens so that the working class, the disabled, and the extremely poor families do not have to go hungry. Ms. Bishwakarma said, ” Being a citizen of Buddhashanti, I am extremely happy to help the local government in the distribution of relief despite. Ms. Bishwakarma is very thankful to Mr. Ravi Rach, CEO of Rach Group of Companies based in Dubai and worldwide, for this generous donation. She, stated her family are from Nepal and looking forward to be giving more of these donations in the very near future and want to help the poor and needy people at time of international crisis caused by COVID 19. It was her personal interest to help the needy people of Nepal and Mr. Ravi Rach was more than happy to assist her in her noble and humble cause.
Local representative Mr. Keshab Dhungel handed over the relief to Mr. Ramesh Kumar Bhujel, chairman of Buddhashanti Rural Municipality. According to Mr. Dhungel, the food items include rice, oil, salt, lentils, and soap as sought by the rural municipality. All 65 families will receive 25 kilograms of the package each. Receiving the relief items, Chairman Mr. Bhujel applauded the effort of the Trust. He specially thanks Ms. Bishwakarma and Mr. Ravi Rach for providing relief package to the working class, the disabled, and the extremely poor families during the crisis. He said that the relief materials will be distributed on a ward basis. Rach Family Trust has been helping the people in India, Pakistan, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi and this is third time in Nepal and looking forward to do more in near future.
